SCARBOROUGH LANDMARKS.

Scarborough [but also anywhere] Landmarks was an exercise in noticing.

We reflected on our not-so-glamorous daily journeys and honoured the mundane, everyday landmarks that make up the places we call home. It was an aooportunity to gather and rethink how we decide what a landmark is – what heritage in our city is.  This event was open to all, not just those from Scarborough - Scarborough is just where I really learned how to notice. Every place has its own mundane cultural icons.

This event was held in partnership with and funded by PlazaPOPs.
