MOMENTS OF MOVEMENT.

Framed as a narrative following 3 personas traveling through Toronto for their own unique reasons, this project proposes the use of pre-made pressure sensors and lights to sense and signal crowding on public transportation. This affords inhabitants greater agency in how they engage their local transit infrastructures, encourages urban exploration, and ameliorates comfort.

Moments of Movement takes a light-touch approach to design, rooting itself in the philosophy that design interventions cannot substitute the necessary legislative and policy changes that are needed to make urban mobility more equitable. The design concept and renders were developed collaboratively. I was personally responsible for developing the personas, story maps, drawings, and graphic narrative structure.
